Dr. Reiss, an Atlanta native, completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School in St. Kitts, and Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama in 2004. After completing a rigorous, one-year internship in veterinary medicine and surgery at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, New York, she joined the Huntington, New York, community as a companion animal veterinarian for seven years. She is a USDA Accredited Veterinarian and is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Reiss has had additional training in emergency medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, neurology, and dermatology,
After her twins were born in 2013, she returned to Atlanta so that the children could be closer to their doting grandparents.
She is delighted to be a doctor with the Georgia Veterinary Associates team and is excited to continue community involvement with animal rescue.
