Veterinarian

The ideal candidate would possess a strong internal medicine and/or surgical interest. We provide wellness for juvenile, adult, and senior pets on a routine basis, but a large portion of Russell Ridge Animal Hospital's cases are comprised of routine and emergency soft tissue procedures as well as fracture repair and advanced orthopedic procedures including TTA.

Associates are required to have a general understanding and knowledge of all aspects of our practice; they are encouraged to focus on any special interest or topic and keep further mentoring and training to hone their skills.


Veterinary Technician

The primary function of the GVA Veterinary Technician is to assist the DVM staff in the delivery of veterinary assistance to patients and their owners. Working under the direct supervision of the attending veterinarian, the technician is responsible for ensuring that quality veterinary care is provided with GVA standards employed.


Veterinary Receptionist

The primary function of the GVA veterinary receptionist is to assist the DVM staff in the delivery of veterinary care to clients and patients. Working under the direct and indirect supervision of the Client Care Coordinator, the Receptionist is responsible for ensuring quality interaction through personal contact and phone contact with clients.


Pet Care

The primary function of GVA Pet Care Staff is to assist the DVM and technical staff in the delivery of quality care to in-house pets, primarily boarders. Working under the direct supervision of the attending veterinarian and Patient Care Coordinator; the pet care staff is responsible for ensuring that quality veterinary care is provided in line with GVA standards.
