Welcome to Episode 89!

Welcome to our holiday episode!

We'll start off by talking about the new COVID vaccine and how vaccine reactions are pretty commonplace among both people in pets.

This will lead us into our Word of the Week: Anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis: a  severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. It can occur within seconds or minutes of exposure to something you're allergic to. We'll talk about the reason for those reactions and how we help our own patients through a vaccine reaction. We'll also talk about how we always weigh the pros and cons of a possible vaccine reaction before vaccinating your pet just as the FDA does so when approving a vaccine or even any drug for that matter.

We'll also talk about how Honey Bees have managed to 'evolve' to protect themselves from 2020's Murder Hornets.

Tiger King not only kept us entertained at the start of this year, it also brought about the passing of a ball that bans the ownership of any big cats within the United States.

In our Healthy Pet, Happy Life segment, we'll talk about Holiday Hazards. All of these can be found on our blog here! If you'd rather watch Dr. Williams talk about the subject her video can be found here.

Do you have a medical condition you'd like Dr. Miller and Angel to talk about? Let us know! Email us at [email protected] or message us on Instagram or Facebook!
