Welcome to Episode 88!

We are broadcasting from grey and hazy Lawrenceville, GA!

It's almost Christmas and here at GVA we just had our 2nd Holiday Party with our Russell Ridge Staff. Instead of a big holiday party, we took just our staff members to a nice dinner and did some fun holiday gifts.

Our Word of the Week is Idiopathic. Idiopathic means relating to or denoting any disease or condition which arises spontaneously or for which the cause is unknown. We talk more about seizures in both humans and pets and how many are symptoms of an Idiopathic disease.

The FDA approved the 1st COVID-19 vaccine with roll-outs later this week. We also talk about how we are considered essential so we hope we will be included in the 1b roll out plan with front line workers in the 1a roll-out.

We talk about how ferrets and cats are more susceptible to COVID-19 as well as a small mammal in Asia called the civet.

Lastly, we talk about a Facebook story about a man in FL who saved his pet from the jaws of an alligator. The pet is now going to be used to help teach young kids safety!

Bush and Bud Lite has teamed up with Bark Box and are now selling 7 packs of beer called Bark Lite. So you get a 6 pack and the 7th 'beer' is a toy for your dog!
